This poses a great risk for goalkeepers and defenders, as they rely on the standard trajectory of the ball. Additionally, humidity affects the weight of the ball. If the outer shell of the ball absorbs water, its center of mass changes, which reduces the spin effect. Even if players try to give the ball a strong spin, due to the moisture, the ball may not curve in the air as expected or may sharply change direction after hitting the ground. In conclusion, rainy weather increases the random factor in sports. The increase in speed and the unpredictability of bounces make the game more dynamic and unpredictable. In such conditions, not only technique but also the ability to adapt quickly to the situation plays a crucial role in achieving victory.
