As a result of the harmony between modern football traditions and technologies, the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system has entered world football. Although this innovation was introduced to reduce errors in the game and ensure justice, the main problem associated with it is "closedness" and a lack of transparency. In many cases, fans and teams do not understand the reason for the referee's decision, which leads to sharp disputes on the field and in the stands. The most effective way to increase the transparency of the VAR system is to create the opportunity to analyze the decision-making processes on live air in real time. Currently, we only see the referee looking at the monitor and hear the final decision. However, if the communications in the VAR room, which frames were viewed, and on what basis the decision was made are presented to the spectators, the transparency of the game will fundamentally change. Such an approach would not only be interesting for fans but would also increase the responsibility of the referees. When a referee's logical chain and analysis are open to millions of people, the probability of making a mistake decreases and decisions become more grounded. For example, it has been observed that the "communication via microphones" system, being introduced on a trial basis in some leagues, has increased trust among football fans. At the same time, an open analysis system further strengthens the dramaturgy of football. Spectators do not simply wait for the result, but learn live how the rules are being interpreted. This serves to develop football culture and reduce misunderstandings regarding refereeing activities. In conclusion, technology should serve not only to determine the result but also to make the process open. The transparency of the VAR system and the live analysis of decisions will turn football into a more fair, understandable, and interesting sport. While the beauty of football lies in its unexpected turns, its prestige is based on transparency and justice.
