On an international scale, the UN's "Sustainable Development Goals" (SDGs) and the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) strategies on gender equality play a crucial role. These documents demand an increase in the share of women not only as participants but also in governing bodies. This serves to ensure gender balance in the decision-making process.
To ensure that legal norms providing equal opportunities do not remain only on paper, a practical approach is necessary. This means paying female athletes salaries and bonuses equal to those of men, creating identical conditions for training, and ensuring media coverage.
In conclusion, gender equality is a necessary condition for the development and popularization of sports. Through the full and effective application of legal norms, we can create a fair sporting environment where the skill, rather than the gender, of talented individuals is valued.
