Video analysis is an integral part of modern football. All professional teams analyze every game via video. Now, this opportunity is also open to amateur footballers.

What should you pay attention to?

Your own movement: Were you in the right position? Were your passes accurate? Did you make a mistake in defense? Team movement: Was the formation maintained? Was the pressing effective? Opponent's movement: What are their weak points? Where did they attack from?

Smartphone camera — the simplest and most convenient tool. Ask a friend to record the game. Save game videos on YouTube and social networks and watch them repeatedly. Some apps provide automatic statistics — pass accuracy, running distance, and others.

Effective Analysis

Watch 10-15 minutes of video after every game. Identify 3 things that went well and 3 things that need improvement. Work on exactly those points in the next training session. Over time, your analysis skills will improve.
