Principles of Team Defense in Football

Team defense is one of the fundamental principles of modern football. "Pressing", "compactness", and "defensive line" are terms that should be in every coach's vocabulary. Main principles: 1) Compactness — the distance between the attack and defense lines should not exceed 25-35 meters. 2) Shifting — the movement of the entire team toward the ball. 3) Pressing trigger — starting the press when the ball enters a specific zone. 4) Cover shadow — blocking the passing lane with the player's body. It is necessary to strengthen the culture of team defense in Uzbekistan football. Often, individual errors lead to conceding goals because the system does not work.
